Does Razalean Live Up to the Hype?

Last modified on April 21st, 2024

Razalean is one of the top-selling diet pills on the market, and it’s popular, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it works well.

We’re always skeptical of any product that says it can help you lose weight, and that includes Razalean.

Below, we go into everything you need to know, including Razalean ingredients, Razalean side effects, and Razalean reviews from customers.

Don’t buy this product until you take a look at our review.

What is Razalean?

First, what is Razalean?

This supplement claims it can help reduce belly size and increase metabolism and energy levels.

According to Razalean’s makers, combining ingredients is designed to work together and potentially be more effective than a standalone ingredient.

Specifically, taking Razalean may reduce your appetite, help you burn fat, and increase your overall energy levels.

Every bottle has 60 servings; you should take no more than two capsules daily.

So, does Razalean live up to the hype?

What should you know about the safety and effectiveness of the ingredients? We cover these topics below.

Razalean Ingredients

We put together an in-depth overview of the Razalean ingredients and what you should know.

Cayenne Pepper

Also known as capsicum, cayenne pepper has an active ingredient called capsaicin.

One of the primary ingredients in Razalean is guarana, which has been shown to boost metabolism and help people feel fuller for longer.

Some evidence shows that capsaicin may reduce fat tissue and help reduce inflammation.

A study published in 2012 indicated an increase in energy expenditure among participants who took capsaicin, and that could, according to the researchers, lead to clinically significant weight loss over a longer-term period of one to two years.

A 2016 report found that consuming capsaicin helped increase metabolism, and a 2014 study showed that capsaicin compounds could help you feel fuller after eating, which could contribute to weight management.

Chili peppers, which capsaicin comes from, are rich in antioxidants and fight free radicals. Free radicals can lead to chronic inflammation and cause autoimmune disease and some types of cancer.

However, there are a few contradictions and side effects to be aware of with this Razalean ingredient.

  • First, you shouldn’t take it if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • It shouldn’t be used by people with bleeding disorders or blood clotting disorders.
  • The ingredient should not be used by people with certain gastrointestinal conditions like inflammatory bowel disease or heartburn.

Kelp

Kelp is a brown algae form of seaweed, sometimes called a superfood. Kelp is high in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. Kelp is one of the best natural sources of iodine, which is essential for thyroid hormone production.

Low iodine can lead to problems with your metabolism and enlargement of the thyroid gland.

You may notice increased energy levels and brain function with the iodine in kelp. At the same time, it is possible to get too much iodine, and that can also lead to thyroid issues.

  • Kelp has vitamin K1, folate, magnesium, iron, vitamin A and calcium.
  • Kelp also has something called alginate.
  • Some reports suggest that alginate could help prevent your gut from absorbing fat, which is likely why it’s included in Razalean and other weight loss supplements.

Early evidence suggests that kelp may also benefit obesity and diabetes by reducing blood glucose levels.

Caffeine Matrix

Razalean has what the company calls a caffeine matrix, which gives you a more steady energy experience without a crash.

However, We couldn’t find specifics on the source of the caffeine.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is one Razalean ingredient with several purported health benefits.

For example, apple cider vinegar is an antioxidant and may help lower blood sugar and help with weight loss.

Apple cider vinegar may kill bacteria, and research has found that it may help manage type 2 diabetes by potentially lowering blood sugar levels.

In one small study, vinegar improved insulin sensitivity by 19 to 34% during a high-carb meal.

In another study of people with diabetes, taking two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar reduced blood sugar by 4% the following morning.

In a study of obese people, apple cider vinegar helped with weight loss and reduced belly fat.

In animal studies, apple cider vinegar has been shown to improve heart health.

L-Arginine HCL

L-arginine is an amino acid used by the body to make proteins.

L-arginine can help lower blood pressure and reduce chest pain, and some people find it helpful with erectile dysfunction because it increases blood flow.

When you use L-arginine, it’s converted to nitric oxide.

Nitric oxide helps widen your blood vessels so blood can flow more easily.

Rhodiola Rosivins

Rhodiola rosivins comes from the Rhodiola herb. Rhodiola is an adaptogen that can help you more effectively adapt to stress levels.

Rhodiola may also help reduce both physical and mental fatigue, and it could potentially help reduce depression symptoms. Rhodiola rasvins may affect your brain chemicals, which is why it’s thought to have these benefits.

Rhodiola may additionally help boost exercise performance, and it’s sometimes used as a natural way to control diabetes.

Turmeric Root Extract

Turmeric is one of our favorite supplements because it can reduce inflammation, help fight fatigue, and has many other health benefits.

Turmeric is often used to relieve pain and joint stiffness, it may combat depression, and studies have shown that adults with pre-diabetes have been able to prevent the development of diabetes using a turmeric supplement.

Turmeric may have antiviral and antibacterial properties, and in lab and animal studies, it has even helped stop the growth of tumor cells, although we don’t know about its cancer effects in humans.

Garcinia Cambogia

Garcinia cambogia comes from a plant that grows native in Southeast Asia and India.

The fruit’s rind contains hydroxy citric acid, which some research has shown suppresses appetite.

That’s why you’ll often see weight loss supplements, having garcinia Cambogia with HCA.

You have to be careful when using supplements with this ingredient because some studies have shown it can contribute to liver toxicity.

A 2020 review of 11 studies found no significant weight loss effects of Garcinia Cambogia.

Raspberry Ketones

Raspberry ketones are a supplement that may help the fat in your cells break down more effectively.

The idea is that you could burn fat faster with raspberry ketone supplements.

Some also claim that raspberry ketone can increase the levels of a hormone called adiponectin, which regulates your metabolism.

Raspberry ketone is a naturally occurring substance that gives red raspberry its smell, and small amounts of it are also found in other berries. You’ll find this in the Razalean ingredients list and often in other diet supplement options.

Test tube studies have shown that they may help with fat breakdown and adiponectin release, but there are few human studies to confirm that.

We couldn’t find one human study looking at the effects of raspberry ketones.

There may be some thermogenic properties, but our research does not support them.

Green Coffee Bean Extract

The final key ingredient in Razalean is green coffee bean extract. Green coffee bean extract contains chlorogenic acids, antioxidants that may have health benefits. They are also anti-inflammatory and anti-hypertensive.

  • Green coffee bean extract is frequently used in weight loss supplements, and some studies have shown that it can reduce body fat, BMI and weight.
  • It may also reduce insulin spikes, lower carbohydrate absorption in the digestive system, and lower blood sugar.
  • There’s some evidence it can lower cholesterol, increase your metabolism and improve hormone levels related to obesity.

However, much of the research has only been done on animals, so we don’t know if this will hold up in human studies.

This extract isn’t the same as green tea extract.

  • Green coffee beans contain chlorogenic acid, as we mentioned above.
  • Chlorogenic acid is why green coffee beans are thought to have weight loss effects.
  • In adequate doses, chlorogenic acid can help with weight loss and combat weight gain.
  • The issue with Razalean is that the doses likely aren’t high enough.

Razalean Side Effects

There are a few potential risks and Razalean side effects to be aware of.

  • First, Razalean has a high caffeine content.
  • You should be aware of this to avoid overdoing it.
  • When you take too much caffeine, potential side effects can range from feeling jittery to throwing up.
  • It can also impact your blood pressure.

Never take more than the dosage instructions for this dietary supplement, and consider other sources of caffeine you may have had simultaneously.

The Garcinia Cambogia in the list of Razalean ingredients may also be problematic. Razalean side effects that may come from this specific ingredient include:

  • Nausea
  • Diarrhea
  • Dizziness
  • Dry mouth
  • Headache

In rare cases, mania can be a side effect of Garcinia Cambogia.

  • Mania symptoms include euphoria, overexcitement, talking very quickly, irritability or delusions.
  • There have also been instances of liver failure possibly linked to Garcinia Cambogia.

A third ingredient in this weight loss pill is green coffee beans, which also potentially have side effects, some of which can be serious. These Razalean side effects may include

  • Insomnia
  • Nervousness
  • Stomach problems
  • Increased heart rate
  • Increased breathing
  • Anxiety
  • Agitation
  • Vomiting

Razalean Reviews

We are not very impressed with the Razalean diet pills reviews we could find online.

Razalean reviews are fairly limited, but customers who have used the product say it’s not super effective.

We went to Amazon to check out the reviews and were disappointed to see that a whopping 23% of customers gave it one star. Only 37% gave Razalean five stars on Amazon.

Many reviewers of this so-called fat reduction supplement questioned how Razalean had even the rating it did because they found it so ineffective.

  • Many users said they did not experience weight loss or a decreased appetite, and it did not boost their energy levels either.
  • Some people also said the side effects were too difficult for them to handle, so they had to stop taking it.
  • Razalean side effects specifically mentioned by reviewers included insomnia, nausea, and just feeling generally bad.

Razalean Frequently Asked Questions

We compiled some of the most common questions about Razalean, along with brief answers to each below.

Where Can I Buy Razalean?

You can buy Razalean directly from the company’s website, but we don’t recommend this option because you often get roped into a subscription or some other gimmick.

You can also buy Razalean on Amazon.

What Does Razalean Do?

Razalean is marketed as a weight loss and diet pill.

According to the makers, the powerful ingredients can boost your metabolism and weight loss, help with appetite suppression, reduce belly fat storage and give you more energy.

Based on reviews and the average star rating on Amazon, many people did not find that was their experience with Razalean.

What Are the Side Effects of Razalean?

Some of the specific side effects of Razalean we were able to find include nausea and upset stomach, insomnia, and headache.

Other possible symptoms, based on some of the individual ingredients, could include increased anxiety, increased heart rate and blood pressure, and vomiting.

How Much Does Razalean Cost?

If you go to the Razalean website, you can buy one bottle of the product for $69.95 or two bottles and get one bottle free for $129.95. There’s also an offer on the website with three bottles and two free for $149.95.

How Do You Take Razalean?

According to the instructions, you take no more than two capsules daily, but that’s the only instructions we could find. In our opinion, the company should be much more specific in how to take it.

Final Thoughts—Do We Recommend Razalean?

We do not recommend Razalean. However, some of the ingredients, like turmeric, have research backing them up.

However, the doses of those good ingredients probably aren’t high enough to bring many benefits.

We also don’t know how much each ingredient is in the formula.

We didn’t like the Razalean reviews, which were mostly unfavorable, and it doesn’t seem like an effective product.

Razalean doesn’t seem like a high-quality supplement. It seems more like a gimmicky diet pill supplement with a lot of marketing but not many benefits.

It’s unlikely this supplement or similar fat burners could significantly impact your metabolic rate or fat burning. Most weight loss products are similarly ineffective. You may get some extra energy because of the forms of caffeine it contains, but that’s about it.

We’d say save your money because Razlean isn’t cheap and look elsewhere to meet your weight loss goals.

PROS

CONS

Our Recommendation

Razalean promises a lot of things it may not deliver.

Some of the ingredients might have positive health effects, like turmeric.

However, it’s a proprietary blend, and there are such small amounts that it’s unlikely to be very beneficial.

We don’t like supplements that promise fast weight loss results and Razalean unfortunately seems to be just that. We don’t recommend it.
